This American Wife is a public radio parody podcast that gently skewers the public radio format, including shows like All Things Considered. Episodes include original improvised comedy with Superego, interviews with characters from The Thrilling Adventure Hour, a very special episode with Joel, Tom Servo, and Crow T. Robot from Mystery Science Theater 3000, and relationship advice from Community creator Dan Harmon.
Since premiering in 2010 at the top of the iTunes podcast charts, episodes have been
downloaded over 2 million times. Probably mostly from people who thought they were
downloading “This American Life.”
